As multi-media platforms become increasingly the norm and information in all of its forms, written, audio and even video are becoming readily available, The Journal of Applied Developmental Psychology seeks to bring both researchers and practitioners a plethora of information via the widest range of resources available today.

In so doing, it is also our aim to bridge the longstanding chasm between research and practice by providing a premier multi media journal that 1) continues to highlight exemplary research and 2) provides a corresponding commentary written to bring the research straight into the clinician's office. Morever, links to professional video conferences, seminars, interviews, and more apropos to the current topic will also be provided to ensure the subscriber has the most recent and the most comprehensive information on the topic readily available.

This new and innovative format will thus serve to bring both researchers and practitioners a wealth of information in virtually every format, thus 1) using multi-media platforms to their fullest potential, 2) bridging the gap between research and practice, 3) enriching our clinical practice with pertinent research findings and 4) driving the reason for our research endeavors.
